Supreme Court Update

This morning, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the Obama citizenship case from New Jersey being pursued by Leo Donofrio. Donofrio claimed that Obama had dual citizenship and didn’t qualify as a natural-born citizen. The court still has the Berg case to contend with.

There are also many other cases working their way through state courts. One of those is a case in California where Alan Keyes is a petitioner and was also a candidate for the Presidency. Since he was competing with Obama for the presidency it wouldn’t seem that his case could be dismissed for a lack of standing. There is also a case filed in Mississippi that is partially sponsored by GOPUSA. I haven’t seen much information on that case yet.
